The Zipp 202 Firecrest Carbon wheelset is taking advantage L'high technology. The new 202s have an internal width of 21 mm and are aerodynamically optimized for LFor use with 28mm wide tyres. The new designs improve the Firecrest's ability to produce low drag and high crosswind stability, a combination we call AeroBalance. Tubeless compatible, the wheels feature a rim made with internal ridges to lock the tire bead in place, ensuring safe performance even when riding at lower tire pressures. The reduced rolling resistance of Zipp e LThe Tangente RT28 high grip matches perfectly with this wheel. The Tubeless Road RT25 tire is another excellent option. A new carbon fiber layup for the Indianapolis-made rims keeps weight down while maintaining the proven durability of Firecrest Carbon. The stout set of 77D/177D hubs, paired with 24 Sapim CX-Sprint spokes front and rear, keep the wheels stiff and responsive. To ensure compatibility with any bike, our versatile 77D / 177D hubs come with interchangeable caps.
