SRAM UDH universal spare swelling
Sram presented the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) fork, a new universal pitchline for rear derailler, a unique solution valid for all mountain bikes. Usually each brand and mountain bike model mounts its type of swallowing that is not compatible with other bikes. Sram wants to put an end to this lack of standardization with the launch of the Udh universal swinging.
The characteristics:
The Universal Derailleur Hanger Forcellino positions itself inside the wheel pin and replaces the original frame of the frame, resulting to be a very useful component to have tools in its own box as part of the spare part in the event of a breaking of the original fork. The UDH fork does not just be a spare part but offers solutions aimed at improving the performance of the transmission.
First of all, it is optimized to increase the precision of the gearbox, not only for SRAM products but also for changes of other competing brands. It also has a protection system that allows the swarm to rotate in case of strong impacts to save the gearbox and the swinging itself from any damage. Finally it is equipped with a ramp that is positioned between the box and the frame to save the latter in the event that the chain should fall from the smaller pigno, thus avoiding that it can fit into the frame damaging it.
- The UDH works with all the MTB and E-MTB broadcasts available on the market from Shimano to Sunrace.
