CyclingCeramic In-Cup Bottom Bracket PF30/T47 30mm/86.5mm

The CyclingCeramic bottom brackets are paired with low-friction ceramic bearings that are more durable than standard bearings. The high-quality finish of the bottom brackets allows them to achieve high performance. They are designed to offer a lightweight set and, thanks to the seal design, provide maximum protection.
The extreme hardness of the CyclingCeramic balls results in bearing longevity 4 to 5 times greater than standard bearings, the special grease keeps the bearings sealed and protects them from external elements that could affect proper functioning.
Silicon nitride balls are used to improve bearing performance. Ceramic balls are 58% lighter, 121% stronger, and 68% harder than steel balls. They require less lubrication and have lower thermal expansion compared to their steel counterparts. The balls are polished continuously for 45 days to achieve rounder and smoother balls. This allows the contact surface to be minimized as much as possible.
