Vision Metron 5D ACR Evo Integrated Handlebar

The 5D EVO retains all the features that made the 5D family unique, starting with the 10° rake angle, useful for improving breathing during the toughest climbs, up to the integrated cable routing introduced in 2019 with the ACR version. However, it has been updated to be even lighter, weighing only 320 g, while simultaneously increasing stiffness and vibration absorption capacity, aiming to efficiently transfer maximum bike control on every centimeter of asphalt to the rider. Aerodynamics have also been improved by lowering the stack by 1.5 cm. But Vision didn’t just create the perfect handlebar for racing; Vision wanted it to be the best for passionate cyclists who want to fulfill the dream of riding like their champions, without having a product overly focused on pure performance. For this reason, Vision modified the ergonomics by introducing an additional size, adjusting the grip depth (L-XL), so that everyone can feel perfectly comfortable on the bike.

Performance
Vision worked alongside the top athletes of our World Tour teams, studying with them the characteristics of the perfect handlebar. The new 5D EVO maintains the distinctive features of the 5D range, improving the construction to increase stiffness and also providing better vibration absorption without compromising the riding feel.

Ergonomics and comfort
Vision worked to make the 5D EVO perfect not only for athletes of all levels. For this reason, Vision modified the ergonomics by introducing an additional size, adjusting the grip depth (L-XL), while maintaining the renowned 10° forward curve in the central wing section.

Aerodynamics
Thanks to CFD analyses and wind tunnel studies, all shapes have been refined and improved to be even more aerodynamic. In particular, the stack has been lowered by 15 mm compared to previous versions to ensure a more efficient and reduced airflow in the steering area.
