Description

Optimized for the rear wheel, this all-round tire balances grip stability, braking traction, and rolling resistance. Ideal for mixed terrain conditions to push your limits on the trail. The balance between tread and open areas allows the best performance on mixed terrain, also offering the perfect balance between grip, self-cleaning, and adaptability. The tread pattern is also ideal for mixed and loose terrain and provides a balance between smoothness, flow, and power transmission. The Endurance compound offers high durability combined with good rolling resistance and grip, making it particularly suitable for trail MTB and, thanks to low wear, also for e-bikes.

    Technology

    BlackChili
The BlackChili compound is produced exclusively at Continental's Korbach plant in Germany and combines the latest polymers with specially developed carbon black particles and fillers. Both cars and bicycles benefit from this technology. Mounted on a bicycle, tires with BlackChili offer cyclists excellent reliability, whether in downhill mountain bike racing or time trials on a road bike.

    Apex
Used successfully for years in car tires, its transition to bicycle tires was only a matter of time. A natural rubber profile, inserted between the layers of the casing at the base of the tire, stiffens the sidewalls, minimizing tire torsion caused by high lateral loads. Stiffer sidewalls, in turn, reduce the risk of punctures and prevent the tire from slipping off the rim. At low pressure, grip is improved without becoming too slow in corners. The risk of punctures is significantly reduced.
